Role Description The Education Visa Counsellor is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad, responsible for guiding prospective students through international education and visa processes. The role involves conducting detailed consultations to understand students’ academic backgrounds, career goals, and preferred study destinations, and providing tailored advice on suitable courses and institutions. The counsellor will assist with application documentation, explain visa requirements, prepare students for interviews, and coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely submissions. Daily activities include responding to inquiries, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of education and visa regulations, updating student records, and delivering clear communication throughout the counselling journey. The role also includes participating in information sessions or events, promoting Aussizz Group’s services, and contributing to a supportive, ethical, and student-centric environment.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Educational Consulting and Education-related knowledge, including familiarity with international universities, courses, and admission processes.
- Candidates should possess effective Student Counseling and Career Counseling skills to assess individual profiles and provide appropriate academic and career guidance.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication, active listening, and interpersonal abilities.
- Relevant experience in education consultancy, visa processing, or student advisory services is beneficial.
- A bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work in a structured, target-driven environment while maintaining high ethical standards and student-centric focus.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in common office and CRM software are advantageous.
