Role Description The Education Loan Expert (Study Abroad) is a full-time, on-site role based in Kozhikode. This role focuses on guiding students and families through education loan options for overseas studies, including explaining loan products, eligibility criteria, interest rates, and repayment terms. The expert will coordinate with banks and financial institutions, help applicants prepare documentation, and track loan applications to ensure timely approvals. Daily responsibilities include counseling students on financial planning, conducting information sessions, responding to inquiries, and maintaining accurate records of applications and approvals. The role also involves collaborating with the counseling team to integrate financial solutions into overall study-abroad plans and staying updated on changing loan policies and regulations.
Qualifications
- Strong background in Education and familiarity with study-abroad processes and financial planning for international programs.
- Excellent Communication skills, including the ability to explain complex financial information clearly and empathetically.
- Experience in Training or Teaching, particularly in delivering guidance sessions, workshops, or presentations to students and families.
- Proven Customer Service skills, with a focus on responsiveness, patience, and building trust-based relationships.
- Knowledge of education loan products, banking procedures, and documentation requirements for international studies.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; qualifications in finance, business, or education counseling are an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external financial partners, and to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and CRM or data management tools; comfort with maintaining detailed records and reports.
