Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in English, Business Studies, and Hindi, based at Alif Global School in Kozhikode. The educator will plan and deliver subject-specific lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum, prepare teaching materials, and design assessments that support diverse learning needs. Daily responsibilities include teaching classes, evaluating student performance, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining accurate academic records. The role involves mentoring students, coordinating with colleagues and school leadership, participating in staff meetings and school events, and contributing to co-curricular activities that enhance holistic development. The teacher is also expected to maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment and engage regularly with parents and guardians on student progress.
Qualifications
- Strong English Teaching skills, with the ability to deliver clear, engaging lessons and support varied learning levels.
- Excellent Communication skills for classroom instruction, collaboration with staff, and interaction with parents and guardians.
- Proficiency in Translation and Hindi language to support bilingual communication and curriculum needs.
- Customer Service and learner-centered Training skills to address student needs, provide guidance, and support academic and personal growth.
- Postgraduate degree in English, Business Studies, Hindi, or a related discipline, with relevant teaching credentials or certifications.
- Prior experience teaching at the secondary or higher secondary level, preferably in CBSE or similar curricula.
- Ability to use educational technology and digital tools for lesson delivery, assessment, and communication.
- Demonstrated commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory practices and fostering a safe, respectful learning environment.
