Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Design Engineer role based in Ahmedabad. The Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing solar and clean energy solutions, including system layouts, mechanical and electrical components, and product configurations. The role involves creating detailed CAD drawings, performing design calculations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure feasibility, safety, and compliance with industry standards. The Design Engineer will work closely with project managers, procurement, and installation teams to optimize designs for performance, cost, and sustainability. Daily activities include reviewing technical specifications, preparing documentation, supporting product improvements, and contributing to innovation within the company’s green energy portfolio.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Design Engineering and Product Design.
- Candidates should possess solid Mechanical Engineering knowledge and experience.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and software.
- Candidates should possess foundational Electrical Engineering skills relevant to solar and renewable energy systems.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, standards, and specifications.
- Experience in solar or renewable energy projects is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively on-site.
- Effective communication skills and capability to manage multiple design tasks within deadlines.
