Role Description The Design Architect will work full time on-site at bbArch’s New Delhi office in India. This role involves developing architectural concepts, preparing detailed design proposals, and translating ideas into comprehensive construction and presentation drawings. The Design Architect will coordinate with internal teams and external consultants to ensure design intent is maintained through all project phases, from concept to execution. Daily responsibilities include design development, participation in client and stakeholder meetings, reviewing technical documentation, and supporting design management activities across multiple projects. The role also requires staying current with architectural trends, building technologies, and relevant codes to inform design decisions.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Architecture and Architectural Design.
- Candidates should possess solid skills in Design Management and Construction Drawings.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for collaboration with clients, consultants, and project teams.
- A professional degree in Architecture from an accredited institution is required; registration with a recognized architectural council is an advantage.
- Experience working on medium to large-scale projects, preferably with exposure to international or high-profile designs, is desirable.
- Ability to work on-site in Delhi, manage deadlines, and contribute positively in a team-oriented studio environment.
