Role Description The Interior Architect will work on-site in New Delhi in a full-time capacity, collaborating closely with the design team to develop and execute interior architecture concepts for residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include space planning, preparing design proposals, selecting materials and finishes, and translating design concepts into detailed drawings and specifications. The role involves coordinating with consultants and contractors on interior fit-out details, reviewing shop drawings, and conducting site visits to monitor quality and adherence to design intent. The Interior Architect will also participate in client meetings, refine designs based on feedback, and ensure that each project aligns with NUAR Studios’ standards of craftsmanship, functionality, and innovation.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Architecture and Interior Architecture, with the ability to integrate building design and interior concepts cohesively.
- Proficiency in Interior Design and Interior Fit-out, including materials, finishes, furnishings, and construction detailing.
- Demonstrated expertise in Space Planning to create efficient, functional, and aesthetically coherent layouts.
- Relevant degree in Architecture or Interior Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Mastery of industry-standard design and documentation software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Strong visualization, drafting, and presentation skills, including 3D modeling and rendering.
- Experience coordinating with consultants, contractors, and vendors; understanding of local building codes and standards.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and engage with clients professionally.
- Proven ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced studio environment.
- Previous experience in high-end residential, commercial, or hospitality projects is an advantage.
