Role Description This full-time, on-site Debt Recovery Agent role is based in Visakhapatnam and involves direct interaction with customers to resolve outstanding debts in a professional and compliant manner. The role includes contacting customers via phone and in person, explaining account status, negotiating repayment terms, and documenting all interactions accurately. The agent will monitor payment schedules, follow up on overdue accounts, and escalate complex cases when required. Daily responsibilities also include working closely with the finance and operations teams, preparing reports on recovery status, and maintaining high standards of customer service while adhering to legal and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Debt Collection and Finance skills, including understanding of repayment structures and basic financial concepts.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to manage sensitive discussions and maintain professional relationships.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to assess account histories, identify recovery options, and prioritize follow-up activities.
- Relevant experience in collections, banking, non-banking financial companies (NBFCs), or similar financial services environments is beneficial.
- Familiarity with local regulatory and compliance requirements related to debt recovery is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Visakhapatnam, manage field visits when required, and handle confidential information responsibly.
- Minimum educational qualification of a high school diploma; a degree in finance, business, or a related field is preferred.
