Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Data Science Trainer role based in Chennai. The Data Science Trainer will design and deliver data science curriculum, including topics such as statistics, machine learning, data visualization, and practical applications using relevant tools and programming languages. Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, creating learning materials and assessments, conducting classroom sessions, and providing mentoring and feedback to learners. The trainer will collaborate with other faculty members to refine course content, ensure alignment with industry requirements, and support students in interview and placement preparation. The role also involves tracking learner progress, maintaining academic quality standards, and contributing to continuous improvement of training programs.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Science Education with expertise in Computer Science , Data Science and Mathematics, especially in areas relevant to data science and analytics.
- Experience as a Qualified Teacher or Trainer, with proven skills in Lesson Planning and classroom delivery.
- Proficiency in data science concepts and tools (e.g., Python or R, statistics, machine learning, data visualization) and ability to teach them effectively.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage learners of varying backgrounds.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Prior experience in training, coaching, or teaching at the college or professional level is highly desirable.
- Ability to design structured curricula, create assessments, and use learning analytics to improve outcomes.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, placement-focused environment and a strong commitment to learner success.
