GenZone — Founding Engineer
Remote globally | Full-time | Hands-on founding role
Build a fintech/neobank platform from zero with the founders. Own architecture and production code across KYC/KYB, accounts, payments, cards, FX and multi-currency money movement.
Build provider-independent bank/payment integrations, ledgers and reconciliation, transaction state machines, idempotency, retries, webhooks, failure recovery, access controls, risk limits and operational tooling. Own APIs, databases, queues and deployment.
Prefer 4–10 years; ability matters more than years. Must have personally shipped live fintech/payment systems with meaningful backend architecture and implementation ownership. Prior neobank/startup experience preferred. This role requires daily coding and founder collaboration without a large support team.
Preferred tools: Node.js/TypeScript, React/Next.js, PostgreSQL, Redis, AWS, Docker. Equivalent backend experience welcome. Equity may be discussed; terms unconfirmed.
