Role Description The Curriculum Associate is a Part-time, hybrid role based in Trivandrum, with flexibility for some work-from-home. The role involves supporting the design, development, and refinement of digital and classroom-ready learning materials across subjects and grade levels. The Curriculum Associate will collaborate with instructional designers, subject-matter experts, and educators to align content with learning objectives, standards, and pedagogical best practices. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting lesson plans, reviewing and improving existing curriculum, organizing assessments and activities, and ensuring that all content is accurate, learner-centered, and concept-driven. The role also includes coordinating feedback cycles, maintaining documentation, and participating in team meetings to continuously enhance the overall learning experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop curriculum aligned with CBSE, NCERT, and competitive exam frameworks (NEET preferred).
- Design structured lesson plans, learning outcomes, worksheets, assessments, and classroom resources.
- Create concept maps, revision materials, question banks, and interactive learning activities.
- Ensure scientific accuracy and curriculum alignment across all content.
- Collaborate with instructional designers, content creators, and educators to build engaging digital learning experiences.
- Review, update, and continuously improve existing curriculum based on feedback and educational best practices.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Botany, Zoology, Life Sciences, Biology, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of school Biology curriculum and learning standards.
- Excellent academic writing and communication skills.
- Ability to simplify complex biological concepts for diverse learners.
- Prior experience in curriculum development, teaching, EdTech, or content creation is preferred.
