Role Description The Credentialing Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end credentialing process for medical staff, including verification of provider qualifications, licenses, certifications, and affiliations. The Credentialing Specialist will prepare, submit, and track credentialing and re-credentialing applications, ensuring compliance with payer, Medicare, and regulatory requirements. Daily tasks include maintaining accurate provider records, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders, responding to inquiries from providers and payers, and following up on pending applications. The role also involves supporting audits, updating internal databases, and contributing to process improvements that enhance the efficiency and accuracy of credentialing operations.
