Role Description This is a full-time, on-site CMA Articles role based in Chennai. The role involves supporting audit, assurance, taxation, and management consulting engagements under the guidance of senior professionals. Day-to-day tasks include assisting in financial analysis, preparing working papers, reviewing client documentation, and supporting compliance and reporting activities. The CMA Article will help in building financial models, performing cost and variance analysis, and contributing to process improvement recommendations for clients. The position also includes maintaining accurate records, participating in client meetings as required, and continuously updating knowledge on relevant accounting, tax, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing CMA (Cost and Management Accounting) or recently completed CMA, with eligibility to undertake articleship training.
- Strong foundation in accounting, cost management, financial reporting, and basic taxation concepts.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other office productivity tools; familiarity with accounting or ERP software is an advantage.
- Good analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team and interact professionally with clients.
- High level of integrity, willingness to learn, and ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced professional environment.
- Interest in management consulting, audit, and corporate finance; prior internship or project experience in related areas is a plus.
