About the Role
BML Munjal University is looking for dynamic, result-oriented, and customer-focused Admissions Counselors to guide prospective candidates through the admission process for its industry-integrated Banking Programmes. The role involves counseling candidates, understanding their career aspirations, explaining programme benefits, and assisting them from enquiry to successful enrolment.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective candidates over phone, WhatsApp, email, and virtual meetings regarding BMU's Banking Programmes.
- Understand candidate profiles, educational background, career goals, and eligibility.
- Explain programme features, curriculum, career opportunities, fee structure, financing options, scholarships (if applicable), and placement support.
- Handle inbound and outbound enquiries generated through digital marketing campaigns, referrals, partners, and other lead sources.
- Convert qualified leads into applications and enrolments while maintaining a high conversion ratio.
- Assist candidates throughout the admission journey, including application submission, document collection, assessment scheduling, interview coordination, loan assistance, fee payment, and onboarding.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and regularly update the CRM with communication history and status.
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly application, assessment, interview, and enrolment targets.
- Coordinate with internal teams such as Operations, Marketing, Finance, Placement, and Training to ensure a seamless admission experience.
- Follow up with candidates at every stage of the admission funnel to minimize drop-offs.
- Participate in admission campaigns, webinars, counselling sessions, education fairs, and outreach activities whenever required.
- Ensure timely resolution of candidate queries while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and customer service.
Eligibility
- Graduate in any discipline (Postgraduate preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in admissions counseling, education sales, EdTech, BFSI sales, or telesales.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills and a strong learning attitude may also apply.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Strong counseling, persuasion, and relationship-building abilities.
- Customer-centric approach with strong problem-solving skills.
- Target-oriented mindset with the ability to work under deadlines.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, MS Office, Google Workspace, and CRM systems.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple candidate interactions simultaneously.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
Preferred Experience
- Education counselling or university admissions.
- Banking, BFSI, Insurance, or Financial Services recruitment/counselling.
- CRM platforms and telephony systems.
