Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Content Writer role based in AUE, Dubai. The Content Writer will create and refine articles, news stories, features, and digital content related to the travel and tourism industry for DDP’s various publications and platforms. Responsibilities include researching industry trends, interviewing stakeholders when needed, drafting original content, and tailoring pieces for print and online formats. The role involves proofreading and revising content for clarity, accuracy, and brand consistency, as well as collaborating with editors, designers, and marketing teams to align content with editorial and business objectives. The Content Writer will help maintain editorial calendars, ensure deadlines are met, and contribute ideas for new topics and formats that engage travel trade audiences.

Key Responsibilities
- Research, write, and edit articles, features, interviews, and editorial content for the magazine.
- Develop original and engaging content based on current trends, industry news, and relevant topics.
- Conduct research and interviews to gather accurate information.
- Coordinate with editors, designers, photographers, and other team members.
- Proofread content to ensure accuracy, readability, grammar, and consistency.
- Create attention-grabbing headlines, titles, captions, and introductions.
- Ensure all content follows the magazine's editorial guidelines and publishing schedule.
- Verify facts, references, and sources before publication.
- Revise content based on editorial feedback.
- Maintain originality and avoid plagiarism.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Mass Communication, Literature, or a related field preferred.
- Excellent written communication and storytelling skills.
- Strong research, editing, and proofreading abilities.
- Good command of English or the magazine's required language.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple assignments.
- Creativity, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with MS Word, Google Docs, and basic content management tools.
- Knowledge of SEO and digital publishing is an added advantage.
Experience
- Prior experience in magazine writing, journalism, blogging, or digital content creation is preferred.
- A portfolio of published articles or writing samples will be an advantage.
