About the Role
We are looking for a high-impact, high-octane Content Sales Lead to drive revenue from social and video content across the North region. This is a key position for someone who can sell creative content solutions — not just media inventory — to brands, and who thrives on building compelling, IP-driven pitches that convert into real business. The ideal candidate brings a sharp creative sensibility, strong brand-side relationships, and a genuine passion for content, paired with the hustle to close deals.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Ownership
- Own and drive revenue targets for social/video content sales across the North region
- Identify, pitch, and close brand partnerships and content-led deals (integrations, branded content, custom IPs, sponsorships)
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of brand and agency relationships to consistently deliver against revenue goals
Creative Solutioning & IP Development
- Lead creative solutioning for brand briefs — translating business objectives into compelling content concepts and formats
- Develop and pitch original content IPs/franchises that can be monetized across multiple brand partners
- Work closely with the content/creative team to ensure pitched ideas are both creatively strong and commercially executable
- Stay on top of social/video content trends, platform shifts, and audience behavior to keep pitches sharp and relevant
Brand & Agency Relationship Management
- Build and maintain senior-level relationships with brand marketing teams and media/creative agencies
- Act as a trusted solutions partner to brands — understanding their marketing objectives and proposing content-led solutions that go beyond standard ad sales
- Represent the organization at industry events, brand meetings, and pitch presentations
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with the in-house brand/content team to co-create pitches, decks, and proposals
- Work with Production/Content teams to ensure smooth execution and delivery of sold content/IPs
- Collaborate with Finance/Legal on commercial structuring, contracts, and deal closures
Market & Competitive Intelligence
- Track competitor content offerings, brand content spends, and industry trends across the social/video content landscape
- Bring market insights back into the pitch and product development process
Requirements
Education
- Graduate required; preference for candidates from premier media/communication institutes such as MICA (Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad)
- MBA preferred
Experience & Skills
- 6-10 years of experience in content sales, brand solutions, or media sales, with a strong track record of selling social/video content specifically (not just traditional ad inventory)
- Proven experience in creative solutioning and building/pitching content IPs for brands
- Strong existing relationships with brand marketing teams and agencies
- High-energy, high-impact sales instinct — comfortable owning aggressive revenue targets
- Strong creative sensibility and genuine understanding of social/video content formats and trends
- Excellent pitching, presentation, and storytelling skills
- Ability to work closely and collaboratively with creative/brand teams to shape sellable ideas
Nice to Have
- Prior experience at a content studio, digital publisher, OTT platform, or social-first media company
- A portfolio of successfully pitched and executed branded content IPs
