We’re hiring at Sumeza Mastery Foods - Packaging Development & Innovation Lead
Location: Gurugram
We’re looking for someone with a Food Technology background and a creative eye to develop premium consumer packaging across our frozen-food range.
You’ll help decide how our products are presented, protected and experienced—from packaging ideas and samples to factory trials and production.
What you’ll do:
• Develop distinctive packaging concepts across our product range.
• Explore pack shapes, materials, finishes, product windows and opening experiences.
• Work with graphic designers to build a consistent Sumeza identity.
• Work with suppliers to develop prototypes, compare options and finalise specifications.
• Evaluate suitability for food contact, frozen storage, transport and intended consumer use.
• Run trials with production and QC, resolve practical issues and get packs ready for launch.
• Balance premium presentation with cost and manufacturing efficiency.
Who we’re looking for:
• A qualification in Food Technology, Food Science or a related field.
• Hands-on experience developing consumer food packaging.
• Strong creative judgment, supported by examples of your work.
• An understanding of packaging materials and food protection.
• The ability to take an idea through supplier discussions, samples, trials and production.
Frozen-food experience would be helpful. Please share your CV and examples of packaging projects, explaining your personal contribution. Clearly labelled concepts and prototypes are welcome.
