What if your expertise in Rhino, Grasshopper and AI could go beyond designing projects โ and help shape how the next generation of designers learns computational design?
rat[LAB]EDUCATION is looking for a Computational Designer who wants to take a more entrepreneurial and leadership-driven path within design technology education.
This is not an administrative or conventional academic-management position.
We are looking for someone who understands computational design deeply enough to speak its language, engage with its community and help us build, curate and scale one of India's leading educational ecosystems around parametric design, computational thinking and emerging design technologies.

You will work closely with the Founder and Education Team across three interconnected areas:
01 | COMPUTATIONAL DESIGN
โข Strong working knowledge of Rhino + Grasshopper
โข Understanding of parametric and computational-design methodologies
โข Active interest and experience with emerging AI tools and workflows
โข Ability to understand, curate and communicate technical design content
โข Support the development and curation of workshops, masterclasses and learning experiences
02 | COMMUNITY
โข Build and engage communities of computational designers, learners and professionals
โข Curate meaningful resources, discussions and learning opportunities
โข Communicate confidently with students, professionals, educators and industry experts
โข Understand learner questions and guide them towards appropriate resources and programmes
โข Help create a stronger culture around computational and technology-driven design
03 | GROWTH
โข Help conceptualise and launch new educational initiatives
โข Develop outreach strategies for institutions, professionals and design communities
โข Coordinate workshops, collaborations and learning programmes
โข Work on communication, campaigns and digital outreach
โข Identify new opportunities for partnerships and audience growth
โข Take initiatives from idea โ strategy โ launch โ execution

Ideally, you are an Architect / Computational Designer / Design Technologist with hands-on experience in:
โ Rhino
โ Grasshopper
โ Computational / Parametric Design
โ AI-assisted design workflows
But technical ability alone isn't enough.
We're particularly interested in someone who is:
โ Entrepreneurial and self-driven
โ An excellent communicator
โ Comfortable working with communities
โ Curious about education and emerging technology
โ Organised enough to manage programmes and initiatives independently
โ Interested in building something rather than simply executing assigned tasks
Experience with workshops, teaching, content creation, community building, events or educational programmes would be a strong advantage.

The remuneration will therefore have two components:
Fixed Component โ Competitive remuneration based on your experience, capabilities and fit for the role.
