Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Community Mobiliser based in Wagholi, Pune. The Community Mobiliser will work closely with rural and urban communities to identify, mobilize, and motivate individuals for skill development and livelihood programs. Key responsibilities include conducting community engagement activities, liaising with stakeholders, identifying prospective trainees, and providing guidance on program participation. The role involves organizing and facilitating awareness campaigns, documenting fieldwork activities, and supporting project implementation to achieve desired outcomes.
Qualifications
- Strong community engagement and mobilization skills, including the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
- Proficiency in conducting awareness campaigns and stakeholder liaison.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills.
- Analytical and organizational abilities for documenting, planning, and implementing field-based activities.
- Knowledge of skill development and livelihood promotion initiatives is preferred.
- Experience in working with rural or underserved communities is beneficial.
- A bachelor's degree in Social Work, Sociology, Rural Development, or related fields is preferred.
- Proficiency in local language(s) and familiarity with the Satara region will be an advantage.
