Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Cyber Security Professional role based in Chennai. The role involves monitoring and analyzing security events, managing security tools, and responding to incidents to minimize risk and impact. The Cyber Security Professional will assess vulnerabilities, implement security controls, and perform regular security audits on applications, networks, and infrastructure. Responsibilities include developing and updating security policies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to secure systems and data, and preparing clear documentation and reports for stakeholders. The role also requires staying current with emerging threats, industry standards, and regulations, and recommending improvements to Auriseg’s security posture.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Cybersecurity and Information Security, including risk assessment, incident response, and security governance.
- Candidates should possess solid Network Security skills, covering firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, VPNs, and secure network architecture.
- Candidates should possess Application Security skills, including secure coding practices, vulnerability assessment, and remediation for web and mobile applications.
- Candidates should possess broad Cyber skills such as threat analysis, security monitoring, and familiarity with SOC operations and security automation tools.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CEH, CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+) are highly beneficial.
- Experience with SIEM platforms, endpoint protection solutions, and cloud security (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
