Role Description The Collection Agency Manager at V CATCH is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. This role is responsible for overseeing collection operations, including managing collection teams, setting and monitoring performance targets, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and company guidelines. The manager will analyze collection reports and data, optimize processes to improve recovery rates and customer experience, and coordinate with clients to align collection strategies with business objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include coaching and mentoring team members, handling escalations, implementing quality and compliance standards, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders such as operations, finance, and client relationship teams.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and people management skills, including team supervision, performance management, and coaching.
- Experience in collections, recovery, or BPO operations management, with a solid understanding of collection workflows and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to handle escalations and maintain professional client and customer interactions.
- Data-driven mindset, with proficiency in using reports and KPIs to drive decision-making and process improvements.
- Familiarity with call center technologies, CRM or collection management tools, and basic MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Ability to work on-site in Hyderabad, handle a fast-paced environment, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, management, or a related field; advanced certifications in operations or Six Sigma are an advantage.
- Prior experience in managing collection agencies or large collection teams is highly preferred.
