Hiring Alert | Civil Engineer
We are looking for a Civil Engineer to join our team at our Singur Plant, West Bengal.
A plant is not only about machinery and production. The buildings, structures, roads, drainage systems, foundations, and every civil asset around the plant need to be maintained, monitored, and managed properly to keep operations running safely and efficiently.
That is where this role comes in.
As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that our plant’s civil infrastructure remains reliable, safe, and well-maintained — while new civil works are executed with the right quality, timelines, and standards.
What you will own
- Supervise and manage civil construction, maintenance, repair, and renovation activities at the plant
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, vendors, and internal teams for execution of civil works
- Monitor site progress, quality, measurements, materials, and work schedules
- Ensure civil works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and required standards
- Manage maintenance of plant buildings, structures, roads, drainage, flooring, and other civil infrastructure
- Prepare estimates, BOQs, work orders, measurements, and related documentation
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure timely completion of assigned work
- Ensure compliance with plant safety requirements and company procedures
This role may not be for you if
- You are not comfortable working in a plant/site environment
- Contractor coordination and site supervision are not your strengths
- You prefer office-based work and are not interested in handling on-ground civil activities
- You do not have practical knowledge of civil construction and maintenance
Who we are looking for
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering
- Relevant experience in industrial, manufacturing, or plant civil works
- Good knowledge of civil construction, maintenance, estimation, BOQ, and site supervision
- Strong coordination and communication skills
- Ability to independently manage civil activities at a plant location will be an advantage
