Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chartered Accountant role based in Bengaluru South. The Chartered Accountant will handle day-to-day responsibilities including statutory audits, tax audits, and preparation and review of financial statements. The role involves managing direct and indirect tax compliance, advising on tax planning, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and accounting standards. The professional will analyze financial data, prepare reports for clients, support business decision-making, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders. Additional responsibilities may include participating in consulting assignments, assisting in process improvements, and contributing to firm-wide knowledge sharing and training.
Qualifications
- Professional accounting expertise, including a Chartered Accountant qualification and strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting.
- Audit and assurance skills, covering statutory audits, tax audits, internal controls review, and documentation of working papers.
- Taxation capabilities, including experience with direct and indirect tax compliance, tax return preparation, and tax planning advisory.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret financial data, identify risks, and recommend practical solutions to clients.
- Proficiency with accounting and tax software, MS Excel, and related digital tools used for audits and financial analysis.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to interact with clients, team members, and regulators in a clear and professional manner.
- Ability to work with integrity, maintain confidentiality, and uphold professional ethics in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
- Prior experience in a professional services or public accounting firm is preferred; exposure to multi-disciplinary assignments is an advantage.
