Job Description – Chartered Accountant
Accounting, Financial Reporting & Compliance
Role Overview
We are looking for a Chartered Accountant with 4–6 years of relevant post qualification
experience to manage accounting, financial reporting, MIS, statutory
and regulatory compliances, intercompany reconciliations, transfer pricing, and
audit coordination.
The ideal candidate should have experience working with Indian subsidiaries of
foreign parent companies and/or US-incorporated entities, with strong knowledge
of accounting standards, taxation, regulatory requirements, and financial reporting.
The role will also involve team handling and coordination with overseas
stakeholders, auditors, tax advisors, and consultants.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and review end-to-end accounting operations, including GL, AP, AR,
journal entries, accruals, provisions, fixed assets, bank reconciliations, and
month-end/year-end closing.
Prepare and review financial statements, MIS, management reports, variance
analysis, and financial reporting packs.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting, tax, statutory, corporate, and
regulatory requirements.
Maintain awareness of changes in Indian laws, regulations, accounting
standards, and other applicable compliance requirements.
Handle intercompany accounting and reconciliations, including related-party
transactions and balance confirmations.
Coordinate and support transfer pricing compliance, documentation, and
related-party requirements.
Coordinate statutory, internal, tax, transfer pricing, and other audits,
including preparation of schedules and responses to audit queries.
Coordinate with foreign parent companies, overseas finance teams, auditors,
CPAs, tax advisors, and other professional consultants.
Support accounting and reporting requirements for US-incorporated entities,
wherever applicable.
Review and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, SOPs, and
compliance processes.
Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and reporting
efficiency.
Manage and guide the accounting/finance team, review deliverables, allocate
work, and ensure timely and accurate completion.
Support management with financial analysis, business insights, and
accounting/compliance-related matters.
Qualification & Experience
Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory.
4–6 years of post-qualification experience in accounting, financial reporting,
taxation, compliance, audit, or finance operations.
Experience with Indian subsidiaries of foreign/MNC companies will be
highly preferred.
Exposure to US-incorporated entities will be an added advantage.
Strong understanding of Ind AS / Indian GAAP and working knowledge of
US GAAP.
Strong exposure to intercompany accounting, reconciliations, transfer pricing,
MIS, statutory compliance, and audit coordination.
Prior experience in team handling/people management is preferred.
ERP & Accounting Systems
Hands-on experience with any of the following:
Tally / Tally Prime | Zoho Books | QuickBooks / QuickBooks Online | Xero |
NetSuite
Experience working with multiple accounting platforms, ERP migration,
implementation, automation, or system integration will be an advantage.
