Role Description This is a full-time remote Caller intern role. The Caller intern will engage with students and parents via phone to explain CollegeBlink’s services, clarify doubts about colleges and courses, and guide them through the admissions journey. Daily tasks include making outbound calls, responding to inbound queries, updating call records in internal systems, and sharing feedback from conversations with the team. The intern will follow provided scripts and guidelines, maintain a professional and empathetic tone, and support outreach campaigns to increase student engagement. Collaboration with the counseling and operations teams to improve communication materials and processes is also part of the role.
Qualifications
- Strong verbal communication and active listening skills, with a clear and professional phone presence.
- Customer service or telecalling abilities, including handling queries, providing information, and maintaining courteous interactions.
- Basic computer literacy and comfort using CRM tools, spreadsheets, and online communication platforms.
- Good organizational and time-management skills to handle call volumes and update records accurately.
- Interest in education, career counseling, or EdTech and an understanding of the Indian college admissions landscape is a plus.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, adapt to scripts and feedback, and collaborate with a distributed team.
- Fluency in English and at least one Indian regional language preferred.
- Current student or recent graduate from any discipline; prior internship or calling experience is an advantage but not required.
