Role Description This is a full-time, on-site CA Articleship role based in Mumbai. The role involves assisting in statutory and tax audits, supporting accounting and bookkeeping activities, and preparing working papers and documentation for client assignments. The candidate will help in the preparation and filing of tax returns, GST and TDS compliance, and other regulatory submissions. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting basic financial analysis, assisting in internal control reviews, maintaining organized documentation, and coordinating with senior team members to meet deadlines. The role also provides exposure to client interactions, professional training, and practical learning across various areas of accounting, taxation, and audit.
Qualifications
- Should be a CA student registered for Articleship as per ICAI requirements, with successful completion of IPCC/Intermediate as applicable.
- Strong foundation in accounting principles, financial reporting, and basic auditing concepts.
- Good understanding of direct and indirect taxation, including income tax, GST, and TDS compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and common accounting or ERP software; ability to work with financial data and documentation.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear work papers and coordinate with team members and clients.
- Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage time and multiple tasks in a structured manner.
- Demonstrated integrity, professional attitude, and willingness to learn and adapt to evolving regulations and practices.
- Prior internship or practical experience in accounting, audit, or taxation will be an added advantage.
