Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chartered Accountant role based in Mumbai. The Chartered Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including preparing financial statements, maintaining general ledgers, and ensuring accurate bookkeeping. Responsibilities include overseeing statutory compliance, tax planning and filings, audits, and adherence to regulatory requirements. The role involves supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, analyzing financial data, and providing insights to improve performance and support strategic decision-making. The Chartered Accountant will collaborate with clients and internal teams, prepare reports and presentations, and contribute to process improvements and financial controls.
Qualifications
- Professional qualification as a Chartered Accountant (CA) with valid membership in a recognized professional body.
- Strong skills in financial accounting and reporting, including preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Proficiency in audit, compliance, and internal controls, with experience in statutory audits, tax audits, and regulatory filings.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, including variance analysis and performance tracking.
- Knowledge of taxation, corporate laws, and relevant accounting standards (e.g., Ind AS, IFRS) applicable to Indian entities.
- Advanced skills in Excel and familiarity with accounting and ERP software; experience with financial modeling is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present financial insights clearly to non-finance audiences.
- Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a consulting environment.
- Prior experience in financial management consulting or corporate finance is beneficial.
- Experience in team handling/client handling is a must
