Role Description This is a full-time, on-site CA Articles role based in Mumbai. The CA Article will assist in statutory, tax, and internal audits, including documentation, working papers, and preparation of audit schedules. Responsibilities include supporting direct and indirect tax compliance and advisory work, such as return preparation, basic tax computations, research on tax matters, and assistance in assessments or litigation-related documentation. The role involves working on accounting, financial statements preparation, and review of books of accounts under guidance of seniors. The CA Article will also help with compliance and filings under various corporate and regulatory laws, prepare reports and presentations for clients, and maintain organized work papers and records. The position offers exposure to diverse assignments, regular interaction with senior professionals, and opportunities to build strong professional and ethical practices.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Chartered Accountancy (CA) with completion of required IPCC/Intermediate level and eligibility for articleship registration.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, financial statements, and audit concepts, with an eagerness to learn advanced audit and assurance techniques.
- Interest in and foundational knowledge of direct and indirect taxation, including income tax and GST, with willingness to work on compliance and research assignments.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and comfort with accounting or ERP software; ability to adapt to new digital tools and firm-specific systems.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document work clearly and interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and an organized approach to managing multiple assignments and deadlines.
- High standards of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality, with a commitment to ethical practice and continuous learning.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and readiness to take initiative and responsibility under supervision.
