Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Manager role based in Mangaluru and Udupi. The Business Development Manager will identify and pursue new business opportunities for Politica Suite, including outreach to political leaders, parties, consultancies, and related organizations. The role involves building and maintaining client relationships, conducting market research, preparing and delivering product presentations and demos, and negotiating contracts and proposals. The individual will collaborate with product, marketing, and customer success teams to refine offerings, gather client feedback, and support onboarding for new accounts. Day-to-day responsibilities also include tracking sales pipelines, meeting defined revenue and growth targets, and representing the company at events, meetings, and industry forums.
Qualifications
- Strong business development and sales skills, including lead generation, pipeline management, and deal negotiation.
- Experience in client relationship management, stakeholder engagement, and account growth.
- Ability to conduct market and competitor research, analyze trends, and identify new segments and opportunities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technology solutions to non-technical audiences.
- Comfort using CRM tools, productivity software, and basic data analysis for reporting and decision-making.
- Knowledge or interest in political processes, public administration, or governance technology is highly beneficial.
- Proven ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet targets and timelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Political Science, Public Administration, or a related field; relevant experience may also be considered.
