Role Description The Business Development Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, focused on driving growth for Bhanzu’s math learning programs. This role involves identifying and qualifying leads, conducting market research, and building a strong pipeline of prospective partners, schools, and customers. The individual will deliver persuasive presentations and product demos, engage in regular outreach via calls, emails, and meetings, and maintain accurate records in CRM or sales tracking tools. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with marketing and product teams to refine messaging, following up on inbound inquiries, supporting negotiations, and contributing to strategies that expand Bhanzu’s presence in existing and new markets. The role also requires tracking performance metrics, preparing reports for leadership, and representing Bhanzu at events or partner meetings when needed.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication for engaging with prospective customers and partners.
- Effective presentation skills and experience creating and delivering compelling presentations or demos to diverse audiences.
- Experience in lead generation, with the ability to identify, qualify, and nurture potential customers or institutional partners.
- Proficiency in market research to analyze trends, understand customer needs, and inform business development strategies.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Comfort working with CRM tools and basic sales metrics; ability to organize and track outreach activities systematically.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with a collaborative mindset and openness to feedback.
- Prior experience in EdTech, education services, or B2C/B2B sales is an advantage.
