Role Description The Branch Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based at the Absolute Barbecues outlet in Coimbatore. The Branch Manager will oversee day-to-day restaurant operations, including staff scheduling, floor management, and adherence to food safety and hygiene standards. This role is responsible for delivering excellent guest experiences, managing reservations and large group events, and resolving customer concerns promptly and professionally. The Branch Manager will monitor sales performance, control costs, manage inventory, and ensure efficient coordination between kitchen and service teams. The position also involves training and mentoring team members, implementing brand standards, and supporting local marketing and promotional activities to drive footfall and revenue.
Qualifications
- Experience in restaurant or hospitality operations management, with prior responsibility for outlet performance and team supervision.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, including the ability to coach teams, manage shifts, and foster a positive, inclusive work culture.
- Customer service and guest relationship skills, with a focus on handling feedback, resolving issues, and creating memorable dining experiences.
- Operational skills in inventory control, basic budgeting, and cost management, along with comfort using POS and restaurant management systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with kitchen, service, and corporate teams.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required in a high-volume dining environment.
- Relevant experience in casual dining, QSR, or hospitality sectors; prior branch or outlet manager experience is highly preferred.
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is an advantage.
