📍 Position
BIM MEP Modeler Engineer
Location: Sobha Corporate Head Office, Bengaluru
Experience: 2–5 Years
Employment Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities
🔹 BIM Model Development
- Develop, manage, and maintain detailed 3D BIM models for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing & Firefighting (MEPF) systems using Autodesk Revit.
- Ensure models are accurate and aligned with project requirements.
🔹 Interdisciplinary Coordination
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, consultants, and contractors to integrate MEPF systems into the overall building model.
- Participate in BIM coordination meetings and resolve design issues collaboratively.
🔹 Clash Detection & Resolution
- Perform clash detection using Autodesk Navisworks and other BIM coordination tools.
- Identify, analyse, and resolve design conflicts.
- Generate clash reports and support multidisciplinary coordination.
🔹 BIM Standards & Content Management
- Create and maintain BIM standards, Revit families, templates, and content libraries.
- Support BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and ensure adherence to company BIM standards.
🔹 Drawing & Model Production
Prepare and review:
- Concept Drawings
- GFC Drawings
- Shop Drawings
- Fabrication Models
- As-Built Models
🔹 BIM Data & Quantity Extraction
- Support quantity take-offs and cost estimation using BIM data.
- Generate schedules and reports from BIM models.
🔹 Technical Support
- Provide BIM software support and assist project teams with modelling standards and best practices.
🔹 Quality Assurance
- Ensure all BIM deliverables comply with project specifications, company standards, and applicable industry codes.
🔹 Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare documentation, coordination reports, and project progress updates.
Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech. or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (preferred).
Experience
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in BIM MEP modelling.
Technical Skills
- Autodesk Revit
- AutoCAD
- Autodesk Navisworks
Preferred Project Experience
- Commercial Buildings
- Residential Buildings
Additional Requirements
- Willingness to work onsite at the Sobha Corporate Head Office, Bengaluru.
- Availability to attend one round of Face-to-Face interview.
