Role Description This full-time, on-site Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) Engineer role is based in Delhi, India. The MEP Engineer will be responsible for designing, reviewing, and coordinating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for residential and commercial projects, ensuring compliance with building codes and project specifications. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and checking MEP drawings, collaborating with architects, structural engineers, and contractors, and resolving technical issues during design and construction. The role involves performing load calculations, selecting appropriate equipment and materials, conducting site inspections, and monitoring installation quality and progress. The MEP Engineer will also support project planning, cost estimation, value engineering, and contribute to continuous improvement of building services and sustainability practices.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) and MEP Coordination skills to integrate building services effectively across project disciplines.
- Candidates should possess solid Electrical Engineering skills and Building Services knowledge to design safe, efficient power, lighting, and low-voltage systems.
- Candidates should possess practical Plumbing and Building Services skills to design and oversee water supply, drainage, fire-fighting, and related systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering (or related field) from an accredited institution.
- Experience in real estate or construction projects, preferably residential and commercial high-rise developments.
- Familiarity with relevant building codes, standards, and local regulations in India.
- Proficiency in MEP design and coordination software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools) and MS Office.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to work on-site with multidisciplinary teams, manage timelines, and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
