JOB TITLE – MEP ENGINEER
DEPARTMENT – CONSTRUCTION (MEP)
JOB LOCATION – BHIWANDI – Maharashtra
Working Days – Monday to Saturday.
QUALIFICATIONS – 1. BE in Mechanical / Electrical (Only degree holders)
2. 18 – 20 years of MEP Experience into commercial, public sector, Industrial Projects.
3. MEP from construction field required
4. Immediate joiner required.
JOB ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES –
1. Pre-Qualification of Consultants & Contractors –
Conduct thorough pre-qualification assessments for consultants and contractors.
2. MEP Space Planning –
Review and finalize MEP space planning before submission of IOD for any project.
3. Design Development and Coordination –
Conduct design development meetings with consultants and architects.
Ensure coordination with internal teams.
4. Tender Stage and GFC Drawing Review –
Review and finalize tender stage details, BOQ, drawing, and GFC drawings.
Monitor milestones and resolve site issues.
5. Site Execution –
Arrange site review meetings.
Monitor site execution and coordinate with internal departments.
6. Contract Management –
Form contracts for work packages in Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting activities.
Collect technical documents required for MEP contracts.
7. Vetting and Tendering –
Vet BOQs and technical specifications.
Issue tender documents to qualified vendors.
Visit sites for prequalification.
8. Quotation Analysis and Approval –
Vet quotes received and prepare comparatives.
Ensure self-rate analysis for electrical, plumbing, and firefighting.
9. Contract Documents and Compliance –
Prepare contract documents for higher authorities' approval.
Coordinate compliance management.
10. Claim Management and Cost Optimization -
Manage claims process and safeguard the organization's interests.
Work closely with project in-charges and department heads to align with project schedules and budgets.
Optimize costs through material selection and packaging of contract packages.
11. Amendment and Vendor Management –
Make amendments or variations in work orders based on executed work.
Maintain a vendor database and contribute to vendor development.
