Role Description: The Barista will be responsible for delivering an elevated coffee and beverage experience in a fine-dining environment. The role requires strong technical knowledge of coffee, precision in beverage preparation, refined presentation, and exceptional guest interaction. The Barista will work closely with the Front-of-House and Kitchen teams to ensure seamless service and maintain The Frame’s standards of quality, hospitality, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and serve premium coffee, tea, and specialty beverages to fine-dining standards.
* Ensure consistency in coffee extraction, taste, temperature, and presentation.
* Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment.
* Demonstrate knowledge of coffee varieties, brewing methods, and beverage profiles.
* Provide attentive, personalised, and professional guest service.
* Take orders, process payments, and provide informed beverage recommendations.
* Maintain a clean, organised, and fully stocked workstation.
* Follow strict food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
* Coordinate with the Service and Kitchen teams for seamless service.
* Monitor beverage inventory, minimise wastage, and maintain proper stock levels.
* Handle guest requests and feedback professionally.
* Maintain grooming, etiquette, and service standards expected in a fine-dining environment.
* Support smooth operations during peak service and perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications
* 2+ years of experience as a Barista in fine dining, luxury hotels, or premium cafés.
* Strong knowledge of espresso, specialty coffee, and brewing techniques.
* Skilled in milk steaming, latte art, and beverage presentation.
* Excellent guest service and communication skills.
* Strong attention to detail and consistency.
* Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Professional grooming and a positive, service-oriented attitude.
* Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
* Barista certification or hospitality training is an added advantage.
