About New Sky Coffee
New Sky Coffee is a premium neighborhood café serving specialty Arabica coffee, handcrafted beverages, gourmet sandwiches, artisanal pizzas, fresh bakery items, desserts, and healthy café meals. We are committed to providing our guests with outstanding food, warm hospitality, and memorable experiences.
Key ResponsibilitiesKitchen Operations
- Prepare café breakfast, brunch, lunch, and evening menu items.
- Cook sandwiches, wraps, pasta, pizzas, salads, soups, and café specials.
- Ensure consistent taste, presentation, and portion control.
- Maintain kitchen hygiene and food safety standards.
- Monitor inventory and minimize food wastage.
Baking
- Bake fresh breads, focaccia, croissants, cookies, muffins, brownies, cakes, and desserts.
- Develop seasonal bakery products.
- Ensure freshness and quality of all baked items.
Barista Responsibilities
- Prepare espresso-based beverages including Cappuccino, Latte, Americano, Flat White, Mocha, and Cold Coffee.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines and coffee grinders.
- Perform latte art and maintain beverage consistency.
- Educate customers about specialty coffee.
General Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and coffee station.
- Assist in menu innovation and recipe development.
- Coordinate with management regarding stock and procurement.
- Deliver excellent customer service.
- Follow SOPs and maintain café standards.
Required Skills
- Experience as a Chef, Baker, or Barista in a café, bakery, coffee chain, or restaurant.
- Knowledge of continental, Italian, and café cuisine.
- Experience in baking breads, cakes, pastries, and desserts.
- Skilled in operating commercial coffee equipment.
- Ability to multitask in a busy café.
- Positive attitude and team spirit.
- Excellent hygiene and food safety practices.
- Passion for coffee and hospitality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in Hotel Management, Culinary Arts, Bakery, or Barista Training is preferred.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience is desirable.
- Fresh talent with exceptional skills and enthusiasm may also apply.
