Located in Koramangala, Bangalore, the café serves guests in person and through leading delivery platforms such as Zomato and Swiggy. Role Description As a Barista at Espressoulster Coffee India, you will prepare and serve a variety of coffee and espresso-based beverages, ensuring taste and presentation meet café standards. You will greet guests, take orders, handle payments, and provide friendly, efficient customer service throughout their visit. Day-to-day responsibilities include operating coffee equipment, handling food preparation for light snacks, maintaining a clean and organized workstation, and supporting overall café hygiene and safety. You will collaborate with team members to manage peak hours, restock supplies, and uphold the café’s premium and welcoming atmosphere. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Bengaluru Area.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service, Interpersonal Skills, and clear Communication.
- Candidates should possess Barista skills, with experience in brewing methods, espresso-based drinks, milk frothing, and basic coffee equipment handling.
- Candidates should possess Food Preparation skills, including safe handling of ingredients, simple café food assembly, and adherence to hygiene standards.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including evening and weekend shifts.
- Prior experience in a café, coffee shop, or hospitality setting is preferred but not mandatory; training can be provided.
- Basic numeracy for handling cash and digital payments, and comfort using point-of-sale systems.
- Commitment to providing an inclusive, respectful experience to guests and colleagues of all backgrounds.
