Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Barista role based in Mumbai. The Barista will prepare and serve a range of coffee and other beverages, handle food preparation for light snacks, and ensure order accuracy. Responsibilities include greeting customers, taking orders, providing product information, managing the cash register or point-of-sale system, and maintaining cleanliness of workstations and seating areas. The role involves following recipes and quality standards, restocking supplies, and supporting opening and closing duties. The Barista will work closely with the team to deliver consistent, friendly customer service and a positive in-store experience.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess Barista skills, including coffee preparation, beverage crafting, and basic equipment handling.
- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to engage guests in a professional and courteous manner.
- Candidates should possess clear Communication skills for taking orders, explaining menu items, and coordinating with team members.
- Candidates should possess Food Preparation skills to safely handle ingredients, follow hygiene standards, and maintain product quality.
- Prior experience in a café, restaurant, or retail environment is beneficial.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
- Basic numeracy for handling cash, billing, and inventory counts.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
