Role Description The AV Engineer will be responsible for designing, configuring, installing, and commissioning audio-visual systems for residential, commercial, and hospitality projects in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad area. This full-time, on-site role includes tasks such as site surveys, preparation of wiring and equipment layouts, rack building, system integration, and calibration of audio and video components for optimal performance. The AV Engineer will manage on-site installations, coordinate with project managers, designers, and contractors, and ensure systems are delivered on time and according to specifications. Daily responsibilities also include troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, performing preventive maintenance, documenting system configurations, and training clients on system operation and controls. The role may involve occasional travel to project sites across India, adherence to safety and quality standards, and continuous learning about new AV technologies and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Audio Visual (AV) Systems and AV Integration, including system design, wiring, configuration, and commissioning.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Conferencing and Digital Signage, with experience deploying, configuring, and supporting these solutions in commercial and hospitality environments.
- Candidates should possess solid Troubleshooting skills, including diagnosing hardware, software, and network-related AV issues and implementing effective resolutions.
- Candidates should have familiarity with AV control systems (e.g., Crestron, AMX, Extron), DSPs, projectors, displays, amplifiers, and professional audio equipment.
- Candidates should have a diploma or degree in Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in AV engineering.
- Candidates should demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail, the ability to read technical drawings, and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and clients.
- Industry certifications in AV (such as CTS or manufacturer-specific training) and prior experience in residential or commercial AV projects are beneficial.
