Role Description The Senior AV Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru East. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting audio-visual solutions for enterprise environments, including conference rooms, collaboration spaces, and specialized presentation areas. Day-to-day tasks include assessing AV requirements, preparing system designs and documentation, configuring and testing equipment, and ensuring seamless integration with IT networks. The Senior AV Engineer will oversee installation activities, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, coordinate with vendors and internal project teams, and provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers. The role also involves maintaining high standards of service quality, adhering to processes, and continuously improving AV solutions to meet client business needs.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in audio-visual system design and integration, including conferencing, presentation, and collaboration solutions.
- Hands-on expertise with common AV platforms and technologies (e.g., video conferencing systems, control systems, DSPs, projectors, displays, microphones, and speakers).
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals as they relate to AV over IP, including basic routing, switching, and security considerations.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting AV systems, diagnosing signal flow issues, and performing on-site testing and validation.
- Experience leading AV projects, coordinating with stakeholders, managing timelines, and producing technical documentation and drawings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with clients, vendors, and cross-functional internal teams.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru East, manage multiple priorities, and maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; relevant AV or networking certifications are an advantage.
