We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented
Automation Technician with 3 6 years of experience in industrial automation, electrical systems, and PLC-based control systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimizing automated machinery and equipment to ensure maximum production efficiency and minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot automated production equipment and control systems.
- Diagnose and repair PLC, HMI, VFD, servo motors, sensors, actuators, and industrial control systems.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on automation equipment.
- Monitor machine performance and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Configure, calibrate, and test instrumentation and control devices.
- Assist in commissioning new automation systems and production equipment.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase equipment reliability and productivity.
- Coordinate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to resolve equipment issues.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection reports, and service logs.
- Ensure compliance with company safety standards and electrical regulations.
- Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring failures
