Role Description The Audio Embedded role at AIonSi is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru South. This role involves working closely with engineering and product teams to design, implement, and optimize embedded audio solutions for semiconductor and related applications. Day-to-day responsibilities include configuring and testing audio signal chains, integrating audio drivers and codecs, troubleshooting audio-related issues, and collaborating on system-level design decisions. The role also includes documenting audio system architectures, supporting validation and QA activities, and contributing to continuous improvement of audio performance and reliability across products.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in live sound and audio engineering, with experience managing real-time audio performance and signal flow.
- Strong skills in audio editing and working with audio visual (AV) systems for integrated hardware–software solutions.
- Understanding of how audio solutions interface with social media platforms and digital content workflows.
- 5+ years of experience in embedded audio systems, preferably in semiconductor, consumer electronics, or automotive domains.
- Hands-on experience with embedded platforms, audio codecs, DSPs, and relevant communication interfaces (e.g., I2S, USB, HDMI, Bluetooth).
- Good knowledge of C/C++ for embedded development and familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS) or Linux-based systems.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, strong analytical skills, and clear written and verbal communication.
- Experience in automotive audio, functional safety environments, or SoC-based audio design is an added advantage.
