Company Description Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) is a Central University established in 1998 by an Act of Parliament to promote and develop the Urdu language at the national level. The University is dedicated to advancing Urdu as a medium of instruction and scholarship, particularly in vocational and technical education. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Faculty role in “MANUU Law School” based at MANUU’s campus in Gachibowli, Hyderabad (Telangana) India. The faculty member will deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in their subject area, using English and /or Urdu as per University requirements. Responsibilities include preparing course materials, designing assessments, grading student work, and providing academic advising and mentorship. The role involves engaging in scholarly activities such as research, publications, curriculum development, and participation in seminars, workshops, and conferences. The faculty member is also expected to contribute to departmental committees, university initiatives, and outreach activities aligned with MANUU’s mandate.
Qualifications
- Advanced academic qualifications LL.M with at least 56% marks (preferably Ph.D. or equivalent) in Law, with a strong record in teaching, research, and scholarly work.
- Proficiency in English & Urdu (spoken and written), with the ability to teach and develop academic content in English medium; knowledge of Urdu and/or Hindi is an added advantage.
- Demonstrated experience in classroom teaching, student evaluation, curriculum design, and use of modern pedagogical methods and educational technologies.
- Research skills, including the ability to conduct independent and collaborative research, publish in peer-reviewed journals, and participate in academic conferences.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills, with an ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and administrative units.
- Commitment to MANUU Law School’s mission and expanding access to vocational and technical education, including engagement in community outreach and academic service.
- Familiarity with national higher education norms, university governance processes, and compliance with regulatory and ethical standards in teaching and research.
