Role Description:
This full-time, on-site Assistant Restaurant Manager / Restaurant Manager role is based in Bengaluru International Airport (BIAL). The role involves overseeing daily restaurant operations, including supervising staff, monitoring service quality, and ensuring a welcoming environment for guests. Responsibilities include managing reservations, coordinating front-of-house and back-of-house activities, and supporting inventory control and vendor coordination. The role also includes handling customer feedback, maintaining hygiene and safety standards, and assisting with cash handling and basic reporting. The manager is expected to support training, scheduling, and performance guidance for team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Qualifications
- Experience in restaurant or hospitality operations, including supervising daily service and coordinating with kitchen staff.
- Strong customer service abilities, with skill in handling guest queries, feedback, and conflict resolution.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management, cash handling, and operational reporting.
- Ability to lead and motivate teams, including experience with staff training, scheduling, and performance oversight.
- Commitment to hygiene, food safety, and compliance with local regulatory standards.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager or Restaurant Manager preferred; hospitality or management qualification is an advantage.
