Role Description The Assistant Manager Human Resources will support and manage a broad range of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, performance management, and HR operations. This role involves coordinating HR projects, assisting in policy implementation, maintaining HR records and HRIS data, and supporting payroll and benefits administration. The individual will work closely with business leaders and enable, empower employees to ensure productivity, teamwork and employee growth.
The position also includes HR operations and HR business partner role helping drive process improvements and employee experience initiatives. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru for a leading client with Pan India Operations in the Event, Marketing and Branding industry.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of core HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, performance management, and HR operations, Career discussion, performance discussions, drive employee experience initiatives around health and wellness.
- 4-5 years experience as HR Business Partner
- Hands on with HR policies, processes, compliance requirements, and POSH-related guidelines.
- Ability to manage payroll coordination, benefits administration, and basic HR analytics or reporting.
- Skill in supporting learning and development activities, including training coordination and leadership development programs.
- Proficiency with HRIS tools, MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint), and documentation management.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and levels.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and a focus on process improvement.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field; prior experience in an HR generalist or assistant manager role is preferred.

- Mature in taking day to day decisions and align with business goals as part of everyday HR leadership
