Job Description – Lead Talent Acquisition
Position: Lead Talent Acquisition / Lead Recruiter
Department: Human Resources - Talent Acquisition
Reporting To: Head HR / AGM HR
Team Handling: Talent Acquisition Executives
Location: Corporate Office, Ahmedabad
Job Purpose
To lead the Talent Acquisition function by managing a team of recruiters and driving end-to-end recruitment across Corporate, Project Sites, Plants, and Regional Operations. The role is responsible for ensuring timely closure of vacancies, senior-level hiring, stakeholder management, consultant coordination, and maximizing offer-to-joining conversion ratios.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Talent Acquisition professionals to achieve hiring targets and recruitment KPIs.
- Drive end-to-end recruitment for Corporate, Project Sites, Plants, and Regional Office requirements.
- Handle recruitment for senior, leadership, critical, and niche technical positions.
- Partner with Project Heads, Project Managers, HODs, and Business Leaders to understand manpower requirements and workforce plans.
- Ensure timely closure of vacancies within approved Turn Around Time (TAT).
- Allocate vacancies, monitor recruiter performance, and drive accountability for closures.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline through portals, referrals, networking, social media, and headhunting.
- Coordinate and manage recruitment consultants, agencies, and executive search firms for timely delivery of quality candidates.
- Conduct screening, assessment, and evaluation of candidates to ensure quality hiring.
- Facilitate interview scheduling, feedback collection, and hiring decisions with stakeholders.
- Drive offer management activities and negotiate compensation within approved guidelines.
- Ensure maximum offer acceptance and joining ratios through continuous candidate engagement and follow-up.
- Minimize offer dropouts and improve candidate conversion during the notice period.
- Track recruitment metrics including TAT, vacancy aging, offer acceptance ratio, joining ratio, and recruiter productivity.
- Prepare and present recruitment MIS, dashboards, and hiring status reports to management.
- Conduct regular manpower review meetings with business stakeholders and hiring managers.
- Ensure adherence to recruitment policies, approval processes, and documentation requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement, process optimization, and recruitment automation initiatives.
- Support employer branding and talent attraction initiatives to strengthen the organization's market presence.
- Build a high-performing recruitment function that consistently delivers quality talent aligned with business objectives.
Qualifications & Experience
- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources preferred.
- 8-12 years of Talent Acquisition experience.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience managing a recruitment team.
- Experience in Construction, Infrastructure, EPC, Manufacturing, Engineering, or Real Estate industry preferred.
- Proven experience handling large-scale hiring and senior-level recruitment.
