This job location is based out of Zambia- Lusaka
Industry preference: Oil and Gas
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics or a related discipline.
• Recognised professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CA, CPA, ZICA or equivalent.
• A postgraduate qualification in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration would be advantageous.
• At least eight years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including at least three years in a finance management or leadership role.
• Demonstrated experience in financial reporting, planning, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, taxation, internal controls and audit co-ordination.
• Experience in LPG, energy, oil and gas, manufacturing, logistics or another operationally intensive environment would be advantageous.
• Experience in a multinational or regional organization would be advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting, management reporting and applicable accounting standards.
• Sound understanding of Zambian tax and statutory compliance requirements, supported by current professional advice where necessary.
• Advanced spreadsheet, financial modelling and data analysis capability.
• Proficiency in ERP systems; SAP experience would be advantageous.
• Ability to convert complex financial information into concise, decision-ready insight.
