About the opportunity
Pasondia Cables Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a technically strong and detail-oriented electrical engineer to join its international technical team.
The selected professional will work as a team partner within the existing technical function and support cable/conductor design, technical costing, BOM preparation, tender submissions, customer enquiries and release of accurate technical information to the plant.
The candidate must possess practical knowledge of international cable and conductor standards, including IEC, NF C, ASTM, BS/EN and UL.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare cable and conductor design sheets, construction details and technical calculations.
- Prepare material-consumption calculations, technical costings and cost sheets.
- Develop accurate Bills of Materials and release approved BOMs and construction details to the plant.
- Maintain clear revision control for designs, costings, BOMs and customer requirements.
- Respond to technical enquiries and prepare inputs for quotations and customer submissions.
- Prepare tender documents, technical offers, GTPs, TDS, QAPs, drawings and compliance statements.
- Review customer specifications and identify technical deviations or clarification requirements.
- Prepare and verify packing lists, drum schedules, packing details and technical shipment data.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Testing, Purchase, Stores and Commercial teams.
- Ensure that released designs and BOMs are technically correct and practically manufacturable.
- Track customer comments, technical approvals, revisions and pending actions.
- Support new product development, international approvals and market-specific product requirements.
- Maintain an organised and searchable technical file for every enquiry, design, costing, tender and approved revision.
Candidate profile
- B.E./B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering is preferred.
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering may be considered with strong cable-industry experience.
- 4–8 years of experience in cable or conductor design, technical costing, BOM or tender engineering.
- Practical understanding of cable construction, raw materials and manufacturing processes.
- Hands-on experience preparing design sheets, material calculations, costings and BOMs.
- Strong Excel and Word capabilities; AutoCAD exposure will be an advantage.
- Familiarity with IEC, BS, ASTM, IS/BIS or other cable standards is preferred.
- Good written English, high accuracy and strong revision-control discipline.
- Must be willing to work full-time on-site in Ghaziabad.
Candidates must have relevant design and costing experience in the cable and conductor industry. Applicants from unrelated industries will not be considered.
