Role Description The Manufacturing Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based at Alpha Nutriwell’s facility in Ghaziabad. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day manufacturing operations for nutraceutical products, including monitoring production lines, ensuring adherence to SOPs, and maintaining cGMP and ISO 22000 standards. The Manufacturing Specialist will coordinate with quality, engineering, and warehouse teams to optimize throughput, minimize deviations, and support timely order fulfillment. Daily tasks include supervising equipment setup and changeovers, tracking production parameters, documenting batch records, and supporting root-cause analysis for process issues. The role also involves training production staff on safe work practices, process improvements, and compliance requirements, while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Manufacturing, Manufacturing Operations, and Manufacturing Engineering skills relevant to nutraceutical or food production environments.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams, documenting processes, and guiding shop-floor personnel.
- Candidates should possess Training skills to onboard, coach, and upskill production staff on SOPs, safety, and quality standards.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical Engineering, Food Technology, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Experience in nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, or food manufacturing with exposure to ISO, GMP, or cGMP environments is beneficial.
- Working knowledge of production planning, basic lean manufacturing concepts, and safety and hygiene regulations is an advantage.
- Ability to work in shifts, manage multiple priorities, and maintain attention to detail in a high-compliance setting.
