Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Engineer role based in Pune. The Assistant Engineer will support senior engineers in line balancing, man management, defect redution , operator efficiency improvement planning, executing, and monitoring production and engineering activities, including equipment setup, process optimization, and troubleshooting. The role includes assisting in preparing technical documentation, maintaining records, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. The Assistant Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams such as production, quality, and maintenance to resolve issues and improve efficiency. Daily responsibilities also involve data collection, basic analysis of process performance, and participation in continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Possess strong technical knowledge in electrical or electronic engineering, with the ability to understand schematics, manufacturing processes, and basic troubleshooting.
- Demonstrate familiarity with production operations, quality checks, and standard safety practices in a manufacturing environment.
- Exhibit effective problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills to support process improvement and issue resolution.
- Have good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with engineers, operators, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Hold a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or a related engineering discipline.
- Ability to work on-site in Pune, follow established procedures, and adapt to a fast-paced industrial setting.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with ERP or production management software is beneficial.
- Prior internship or experience in an automotive or electronic manufacturing plant is an added advantage.
