Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Branch Manager role based in Branch, LA. The Assistant Branch Manager will support day-to-day branch operations, including overseeing sales activities, monitoring service quality, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The role involves guiding and mentoring branch team members, assisting in setting and tracking performance targets, and promoting company life insurance products across protection, child education, retirement, savings, and health segments. The person in this position will help manage customer relationships, resolve escalated issues, coordinate local marketing initiatives, and provide regular reporting on branch performance to senior management. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and active participation in training and process improvement efforts are also key responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in branch operations, customer service, and day-to-day team coordination.
- Experience in sales management, business development, and achieving performance targets in financial services or insurance.
- Ability to support staff coaching, performance monitoring, and collaborative teamwork.
- Solid understanding of life insurance products, including protection, savings, retirement, and health solutions.
- Competence in basic data analysis, reporting, and use of CRM or branch management systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on relationship-building and conflict resolution.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field; relevant industry certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a supervisory or assistant manager role within banking, insurance, or financial services is preferred.
